Red Sea Berlin Skimmer
Intelligently designed Red Sea Berlin Protein Skimmers boast 50% performance improvement. Upgraded units remove even the smallest amount of waste materials thanks to their patented triple-Pass design. Berlin Turbo features new, high efficiency needle wheel impeller for more super fine, waste removing bubbles.
Berlin Venturi Skimmers features new, high performance venturi air injector and improved water throughput for efficient protein skimming. Ozone resistant Venturi is ideal for use with an ozonizer. Hang-on kit comes standard for versatile installation. 10-5/8″ x 6-3/8″ x 22″ high.
Berlin Turbo:
The height of the reaction chamber has been increased by 2″ to get the most from the increased performance of the new, high efficiency pinwheel impeller. The needle wheel provides an increased quantity of super fine air bubbles in a powerful, homogenous air-water mixture. The Turbo has a maximum throughput of 225 gph and a maximum air throughput of 75 gph.
Berlin Venturi:
The new high performance venturi air injector has increased the water throughput of the Berlin Venturi to 150 gph and the air throughput to 50 gph. In addition to its proven record as a protein skimmer, the Venturi’s ozone resistant parts also make it an ideal ozone reactor.
Triple-Pass™ – Air bubbles are forced along a circuitous three-way route inside the Berlin Skimmer reactor chamber, which maximizes the contact time between the air bubbles and water. The patented Air Return Skirt prevents air bubbles from escaping the skimmer with the water flow and re-entering the aquarium.
FoamView™ – Patented window built into the side of the collection cup allows you to quickly and accurately evaluate foam production and adjust the Berlin Protein Skimmer accordingly.
Tangential Water Inlet – Causes turbulent flow and a swirling motion that increases the mixing action of the water and air bubbles.
Removable Collection Cup and all Internal Parts – Allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.
